Richard

Director and Founder

Richard is the Director and Founder of Image Exclusive. Richard’s early college days in Lancashire were in a photographic industry of film and darkrooms. He worked alongside pioneering advertising photographers and was lucky enough to be involved in projects with major brands. He witnessed one of the first ever digital cameras being wheeled into the studio on a trolley and plugged into the mains!

Moving to Yorkshire, Richard joined a portrait studio that was to become the most dynamic portrait brand in the UK growing to over 100 studios worldwide. Taking all these years of incredible photographic design, experience and knowledge, he opened his own personal studio and Image Exclusive was born.

Magda

Photographer

Magda has been an integral part of our photography team for the past two years. With a genuine passion for her craft, Magda finds joy in delivering stunning and imaginative images that families can cherish for a lifetime.

While Magda’s expertise encompasses a wide range of subjects, she has a special love for photographing furry friends. Dogs, in particular, hold a special place in her heart, as their infectious energy and playful nature make for endlessly enjoyable and captivating photo sessions. Through her lens, she brings out their charm, creating heart warming portraits that immortalize the unconditional love and joy they bring to our lives.

Magda’s dedication to her craft, combined with her genuine love for capturing life’s most beautiful moments, makes her an invaluable member of our team. With her talent, warmth, and creativity, she ensures that every client’s experience is nothing short of extraordinary.

James

Photographer

James is our newest photographer at the studio. With a strong background in photojournalism and documentary photography, James graduated in 2022 after six years of immersive photographic education. His dedication and artistic eye have already gained recognition, as he was a runner-up for the prestigious Tom Stoddart Award in 2020/2021 and even had work showcased in a notable gallery exhibit in London.

James’s roots trace back to Yorkshire, where his creative journey began. However, his love for exploration and adventure has taken him far and wide. Before the age of 22, he had already traversed five different continents, soaking in the diverse cultures and landscapes that inspired his artistic vision.

When he’s not behind the lens, James can be found indulging in his hobbies, which include playing badminton and hitting the gym. He also enjoys reading action novels on sunny days and unwinding with some gaming on quiet evenings.

Abby

Retouching and Production

Abby has been passionate about photography since her childhood. Her passion for photography led her to study at Kingston upon Thames University, securing a BA Hons degree in photography. During her time at university, she achieved the best “Canon University image” and had her work displayed in art and photographic galleries around London.

Embarking on a new and exciting journey with Image Exclusive, Abigail works closely with Richard in creativity, artwork, and digital design. Primarily working in our retouching and production department, it’s Abigail’s job to make sure your order looks perfect before sending it to be produced.

Lucy

Marketing Manager

Lucy is our Marketing Manager. She is responsible for developing and implementing new and exciting ways to attract more friendly faces into the studio! From creating fun competitions for all the family to enjoy, to being the smiling face of our local exhibitions, Lucy is always ready to make sure your experience with us starts off on the right foot. She is also the creative brains behind the content posted on our Instagram and Facebook social media pages so don’t forget to check them out!

With a new four-legged addition to her family, Frankie the Boxer dog, and her own freelance writing company, Lucy is certainly very busy both in and out of the studio! In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing poetry, and watching nature documentaries.

Sharon

Diary Manager

Sharon looks after all the appointments in the diary. She is the person you’ll talk to when you want to book in your photography session. Sharon enjoys being the starting point of your journey with us and preparing everybody for the experience ahead. A large part of Sharon’s role is finding out about the members of the family and learning about their personalities, interests, and hobbies, and in turn, providing them with ideas and suggestions on what to bring along and how to make the most of their session with us.

The most important thing to Sharon is her family. She spends a lot of time with her grandsons, one of which is a keen clay pigeon shooter! She also enjoys walking her black Labrador, Storm, as well as the many other family dogs… and horses! Sharon is also partial to a nice glass of Bailey’s on the weekends, and with her maiden name being Bailey, it’s quite appropriate indeed!

Jennie

Booking Co-ordinator

Jennie is our Booking Co-ordinator. She works alongside Sharon to help schedule appointments and ensure that everything runs smoothly for you. You might also find her assisting Lucy in a few marketing projects and attending some exhibitions to have a friendly chat and answer any questions.

Jennie loves to travel and is always planning her next trip with her family. You’ll find her at her happiest when she’s bringing homemade shortbread into the office or cooking a lovely meal in her kitchen with a gin and tonic in hand!

Izzy

Viewing Consultant and Digital Artist

Izzy is our viewing consultant and digital artist. She’s the person who edits your photos and is lucky enough to share your photos with you when you come in for your viewing. She got her degree in Game Art from De Montfort University in 2022 and was excited to put her digital art and photoshop skills to great use with Image Exclusive.

If you meet Izzy, she will likely be sporting a rainbow of colours in her clothes, and a funky set of earrings. Izzy uses fashion and colours to express herself and bring some positivity into the day. She also loves drag, and started the first ever drag society at her university where she hosted ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ watch parties and enjoyed live drag shows every week! She also plays field hockey, and enjoys boosting her team’s morale, and having a great time out on the pitch.

Bayley

Studio Dog

Here is our cuddliest team member, Bayley! He may be small, but he’s packed with personality. He tends to stay in the office but occasionally makes an appearance in the viewing room to help you choose your images. He sometimes also takes a starring role in our social media and takes a great selfie! Each member of our team can’t resist playing fetch with Bayley, we just can’t say no to that face!
